Mckenna Grace Rumored to Be In Talks to Return to the MCU in New "Huge Role" After Cameo as Young Captain Marvel
Mckenna Grace (Young Sheldon, Ghostbusters: Afterlife) made her Marvel debut in the 2019 film Captain Marvel, in which she played the young version of Carol Danvers.
As this was a flashback scene, it gave context to the story, but her character was not revisited moving forward. So could the rumor be true that Grace is up for a “huge” new role in the MCU that would have more staying power for the star?
Reliable Marvel Scooper @MyTimeToShineH shared a post on X, writing, “McKenna Grace is being eyed for a huge role in the MCU. Who do you want her to play?”
There’s no way to know who Marvel boss Kevin Feige could be considering her for. I know that X-Men is in active casting, with a few roles still up for grabs, but there is still so much untapped story and characters in Marvel comics, it would be hard to guess who she could be.
But that’s also kind of the fun of it. Are there any roles in Marvel you haven’t seen on the big screen yet that you’d be stoked to see Mckenna Grace play?
