MCU Deepfake Videos Feature John Krasinski as Captain America and Emily Blunt as Black Widow

It’s widely known to Marvel fans that John Krasinski was extremely close to landing the role of Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America before Chris Evans was ultimately cast. Krasinski had that All-American look that would have been great for the role, but ultimately Marvel Studios went with Evans, which ended up being a solid choice.

Marvel also originally wanted Emily Blunt for the role of Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow. She was the studio’s top pick, but due to a contractual obligation, Blunt wasn’t able to take the role. So, they ended up casting Scarlett Johansson.

I’ve always wondered what it would have been like to see Kransinski and Blunt in the roles of these Marvel characters, and thanks to deepfake technology, we now know! They both would have looked great in the roles!

In the end, we got what we got, and I can’t complain!
