Meet the Electric-Type Gym Leader for POKEMON SCARLET and POKEMON VIOLET, Iono

The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, and Nintendo shared a new video today for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. The focus was on one of the new Gym Leaders Iono who happens to be a live streamer. We’re welcomed to the Iono Zone which I guess is her streaming channel and learn she’s the Gym Leader in Levincia and she’s an Electric-type trainer. Overall, not much that fans find important happens in the trailer, but we are shown what appears to be a Paldean variant of Magnemite although given Wiglett, it could be a brand new Pokémon that is very similar to Magnemite. Iono plays a game where she describes her partner Pokémon, but doesn’t provide us the answer, telling us to wait until next time. My guess is that it is a brand new Paldean Pokémon, so I don’t know that it’s worth venturing a guess, but you can try. What do you think of this new Gym Leader?
