MEGADETH Frontman Dave Mustaine Says Song "Holy Wars" Inspired by THE PUNISHER

Dave Mustaine, front man of Megadeth, has revealed in a recent interview with Marvel that the popular song "Holy Wars" was inspired by The Punisher! The full interview with Mustaine starts around 2:00, and takes off pretty quickly with the revelation as Mustaine talks about the exact point in the song it is referenced...

"Believe it or not 'Holy Wars' was inspired by The Punisher. The second half of the song 'The Punishment Due' I mean you can read the lyrics to it...'They killed my wife and my baby with hopes to enslave me', that's Frank Castle!"

That's not the only reference to Frank Castle either, as he is also mentioned in "Killing Is My Business And Business Is Good" as a "paid assassin." Check out the full interview with the metal legend in the video below, and check out both songs below that!
