Mel Gibson Is Set to Star in a New Thriller Titled HOT SEAT
Mel Gibson has signed in to star in an upcoming thriller titled Hot Seat, and he will star alongside Chad Michael Murray. The movie will be helmed by James Cullen Bressack, who recently directed Fortress with Murray and Bruce Willis.
In the film, “an ex-hacker is forced to break into high level banking institutions by an anonymous man who planted a bomb under his chair at his office. Gibson plays the man who must try to penetrate the booby trapped building to get the young man off the hot seat.”
That sounds like the kind of movie that Gibson might have fun being a part of. The movie is being produced by Randall Emmett and George Furla, and they shared in a joint statement, “This is our third movie with Mel and we couldn’t be happier to continue the relationship with such an iconic and exceptional artist.”
Emmett, Furla, and Gibson have previously worked together on the films Force of Nature and Boss Level, both of which were good movies. So, there’s a god chance that Hot Seat will be good as well.
