Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer in Talks to Star in a Super Power Film Called THUNDER FORCE!

Deadline is reporting that Netflix is working on a deal with Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer to star in Thunder Force. Thunder Force is set to be released this fall on the streaming service and will be written and directed by McCarthy’s husband Ben Falcone.

Not much is known about the project. In fact, next to nothing is known about this project! Here is what the report had to say:

Sources say they are wrapping up deals with Octavia Spencer and Melissa McCarthy to star this fall in Thunder Force, a film that Ben Falcone has written and will direct. They are keeping the specifics under wraps, but I’m told the story will center on the two stars getting superpowers.

That is it. So based on what they gave us I am going to start assuming what it is going to be about. In a perfect world it would be about McCarthy and Spencer as themselves getting superpowers. We would see how they would deal with being movie stars and superheroes. Will this be the basis of this film? Nope, but I would love it to be.
