Mia Goth Joins Christipher Nolan's THE ODYSSEY
Mia Goth is the latest addition to Christopher Nolan’s ambitious new project, The Odyssey. The Pearl and MaXXXine star joins an already impressive ensemble, which includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Jon Bernthal, and John Leguizamo.
Nolan’s take on The Odyssey will bring Homer’s legendary epic to the big screen in a way it has never been seen before.
The story follows the Greek hero Odysseus as he struggles to return home after the Trojan War. Universal, the studio backing the film, describes it as a “mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology.”
Production will take Nolan’s team to various global locations, including Sicily, which is one of the real-world settings that aligns with Odysseus’ legendary wanderings.
Known for his dedication to practical effects and large-scale filmmaking, Nolan is sure to deliver an experience that does justice to the scope of the ancient tale.
In addition to directing, Nolan is also writing and producing the film. With a release date set for July 17, 2026, The Odyssey is shaping up to be a highly anticipated cinematic event.
