Mia Wasikowska Stars in the Totally Bananas Trailer for the Thriller JUDY & PUNCH

We’ve got a bananas new trailer for you to check out from the movie Judy & Punch, starring Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland, Lawless) as Judy, and Damon Herriman (Justified, Mindhunter) as Punch. Playing off the traditional English puppet show, with the swapped name of Punch and Judy, the pair are a couple of puppeteers in the English town of Seaside, making a living off their puppet show. The film is written and directed by Mirrah Foulkes, and this is her first full-length film.

In the film, Judy returns to her home to see that her drunk husband has lost track of their baby and is pretty nonchalant about the fact that the child probably ended up in the fire. When Judy justifiably loses her shit, Punch beats her severely, leaving her for dead. When she wakes up surrounded by a group of women, she makes it her mission to take Punch out for good.

This looks like a crazy movie. I don’t know if I will see it because I don’t do dead babies, but I appreciate the revenge aspect. The film only has a UK release date so far of November 15, but hopefully we will get a US release date soon. Are you down for Judy & Punch?
