Michael B. Jordan and Amazon Studios Team Up for a "Mind-Bending" Film THE DWELLING
After a competitive film rights auction, Amazon Studios has picked up the right to an unpublished short story titled The Dwelling, which they will adapt as a feature film. Michael B. Jordan is also on board the project as a producer, and he will also most likely star in it as well.
The Dwelling tells the story of “a newly divorced father who discovers a house buried in his backyard. He is a former all pro football player trying to ease into retirement, and the hits he took on the field starts to make him unsure what is real and imagined, as things begin to go awry.”
Jordan is still riding high off the success of Creed III, and this sounds like a fascinating film project for him that will play around in the supernatural sandbox. The story is described as being “mind-bending,” and it’ll be interesting to see how this story is going to play out.
The story was written by Aaron Jayh, and Amazon picked it up with a high-six-figure outright purchase. Not bad!
