Michael B. Jordan Is Making a Creature Feature with the Director of KONG: SKULL ISLAND

Michael B. Jordan is teaming up with the director of Kong: Skull Island, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, to make a creature feature for New Regency.

There aren’t any plot details to share, but the movie is based on an original idea that came from Vogt-Roberts, and the story will be set in the filmmaker’s hometown of Detroit. It’s explained that “Vogt-Roberts maintains deep ties to the Motor City, repeatedly bringing production to it any way he can.”

Jordan will produce the project, and I imagine he could end up starring in it as well, but that has yet to be seen. As of right now, they producing team is looking for a screenwriter to work on the script.

I love a good old-fashioned monster movie, and it will be interesting and cool to see what Jordan and Vogt-Roberts are planning for this.
