Michael B. Jordan To Star in Denzel Washington's JOURNAL FOR JORDAN
Michael B. Jordan is joining another film project. This guy is working like a mad man in Hollywood, he’s been jumping on board so many films in development! This new film project of his is called Journal For Jordan. It’s set up at Sony Pictures and Denzel Washington is directing it.
The movie was written by Virgil Williams (Mudbound) and this story is based on the true story of Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Dana Canedy’s love affair with First Sergeant Charles Monroe King. “King kept a journal full of poignant life lessons for their newborn son, Jordan, while deployed overseas. He was killed in Iraq in 2006 when Jordan was just seven months old, but his spirit lives on in his messages of love to Dana and Jordan.”
This sounds like it’s going to be a pretty heavy, powerful, and emotional film. This will be a good project for both Jordan and Washington to take on.
