Michael Bay Is Set to Direct BLACK 5 for Sony Pictures

Michael Bay is set to direct a new film being produced by Sony Pictures called Black 5. There are no plot details that have been revealed, but we do know that it will be “high on action.”

The script for the film comes from Ehren Kruger (The Ring, Ghost In The Shell, Dumbo ,and three Transformers movies). Bay and Erwin Stoff, who previously worked on the Bengahzi film 13 Hours, will serve as producers.

While I haven’t really cared for Bay’s Transformers movies, I do like a lot of his non-Transformers films, and I’m curious to learn what this Black 5 movie will end up dealing with.

Bay is currently in post-production on his Netflix action film Six Underground and will start work on Black 5 as soon as he’s finished with it in early 2020.
