Michael Cera Joins Amy Schumer in The Hulu Comedy Series LIFE & BETH
Michael Cera is set to star alongside Amy Schumer in her upcoming Hulu comedy series Life & Beth. Schumer not only stars in the series, but she is also the writer, director, and executive producer.
In the show, “Beth’s (Schumer) life looks pretty great on paper. Impressive to everyone she grew up with, she makes a good living as a wine distributor. She’s in a long term relationship with an attractive, successful guy and lives in Manhattan. When a sudden incident forces Beth to engage with her past, her life changes forever. Through flashbacks to her teen self, Beth starts to learn how she became who she is and who she wants to become.”
Cera will take on the role of John, a farmer and chef who is described as always being “honest and to the point”. I enjoy the roles that Cera portrays in the projects that he takes on and it’s not hard to imagine him in the role of a farmer.
Hulu has ordered 10-episodes for the first season of the series as part of a first-look deal Schumer signed with Hulu.
