Michael Keaton in Talks to Play Batman Again in DC's THE FLASH Movie!
Holy shit! Michael Keaton, the man who played The Dark Knight in Tim Burton’s classic Batman movies is looking to reprise his role again in DC’s The Flash! That’s right, Keaton might actually be playing Batman again!
According to The Wrap, Keaton is in talks to return to the role of Batman and will appear alongside Ezra Miller in Warner Bros. The Flash. This is not a done deal, though. The report says, “talks with Keaton are in the very early stages, it is far from a sure thing, and can go either way.”
There are no details on how big of a role that Keaton would have in the movie as Batman, but it would be pretty freakin’ awesome to see him in the role of Batman again! If this actually happens and Keaton closes the deal, fans are going to flip out of their minds!
The plot of the film will reportedly “introduce general audiences to the idea of the multiverse, one of the core concepts underpinning DC Comics. The multiverse refers to a shifting number of alternate universes that coexist within the larger reality depicted in DC comics. Originally created to explain various contradictory changes the company’s characters experienced over decades, it allows several different versions of the same characters to simultaneously exist and, occasionally, interact.”
With this being the case, then Keaton will be playing the same version of Batman that he played in Burton’s films. Makes me wonder if Warner Bros. is approaching any other Batman actors to come back.
What do you think about the possibility of Keaton taking on the role of Batman again!?
