Michael Shannon, Judy Greer, Eva Longoria, Rory Culkin and Luis Guzman Among Cast Members to Join Dark Comedy Film DEAD GUY
Michael Shannon (Man of Steel), Judy Greer (13 Going on 30), Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Rory Culkin (Under the Banner of Heaven), Luis Guzman (Wednesday), Curtis Armstrong (Better Off Dead), Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break), and Amy Hargraves (Homeland) have all been cast in the film Dead Guy, a dark comedy from writer-director Courtney J. Camerota in her feature directorial debut.
The film’s plot is set into motion when an abrasive old man suddenly dies in the apartment of a neighbor. An absurd game of hot potato then begins with the not-so-dearly departed, as neighbors and building workers each pass the body along, in the hopes of not being linked to the old man’s demise.
Director Camerota said of the project: “I wrote this script years ago and to finally see it come to life is a dream come true. The opportunity to work with such an incredible cast, crew and producing team for my directorial debut has been an absolute honor. I can’t wait for the world to see Dead Guy.”
