Michael Bay Developing a True Crime Docuseries for Investigation Discovery
Michael Bay is getting into the true crime business and has teamed up with Investigation Discovery for a true crime docuseries that will “expose a terrifying, yet little known true crime story.”
True crime has been extremely popular, and it continues to grow in popularity, so it makes sense that Bay would want to jump in on the action, but I never expected it from him! The filmmaker shared why he created this project, saying:
“I’m a storyteller at heart. I’m fascinated by the human mind and exploring what makes each of us tick. When you approach documenting real-life crime from that perspective, the end result is always intriguing. Known for the caliber of their programming, Investigation Discovery’s expertise in unscripted true crime is second to none, and I can’t wait to expose one of the most twisted crimes of the century.”

There’s no information on what this twisted true crime story is, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough! It’d be nice if they gave us a little more information, but their plan is obviously to hype the project with the fewest details possible.
