Micheal J. Fox Joins Kiefer Sutherland's DESIGNATED SURVIVOR
If you're a fan of Michael J. Fox, you'll be happy to learn that he's joined the cast of ABC's drama series Designated Survivor. I enjoy watching this show and it's so cool that Michael J. Fox is going to be a part of it.
The series stars Kiefer Sutherland, who plays Tom Kirkman, "a lower-level cabinet member who is suddenly appointed President of the United States after a catastrophic attack on the US Capitol during the State of the Union. Kirkman will struggle to keep the country and his family from falling apart, while navigating the highly-volatile political arena and leading the search to find who is responsible for the attack."
Fox will appear in a five-episode story arc. He will play a character named Ethan West, "a high-flying and connected Washington attorney who is hired by the President’s Cabinet and ultimately appointed as special prosecutor to investigate former President Cornelius Moss’s alleged leak of classified information."
It's also explained that west is "a hyper-competitive, wily, relentless lawyer who plays his cards close to the vest and whose only allegiance is to his mandate — a single-mindedness that makes him an unpredictable and formidable adversary for President Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland)."
This actually sounds like it will be a great character for Fox to play! Designated Survivor is set to return to ABC on February 28th.
