Michelle Pfeiffer Confirms She'll Be Back For ANT-MAN 3 Which Is Set to Shoot This Spring
While this year was full of lots of scheduling shakeups, it seems that the films and series we have been looking forward to are getting back on track. In a recent interview with the Ladies First with Laura Brown podcast, Michelle Pfeiffer confirmed that she will be back as Janet Van Dyne in Ant-Man 3, and she broke the news that the film is set to begin shooting this coming Spring, 2021.
Pfeiffer obviously couldn’t say more about the story in the film, but it’s good to know she will be back. The other confirmed actors returning to the third film are Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/Wasp, Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, and newcomer to the franchise Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country) as villain Kang the Conqueror.
It has not yet been confirmed that Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, and David Dastmalchian will return, but what’s an Ant-Man movie without those guys?
I am bummed that we lost so much Marvel momentum this year with the pandemic-related filming shutdowns, but I am so happy to hear that things are getting back on track! I can’t wait for Ant-Man 3, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they will be able to proceed with a spring 2021 shooting schedule.
Ant-Man 3 is set to hit theaters in 2022.
