Michelle Rodriguez Says She'll Probably Return For More FAST AND FURIOUS

Over the last few months, Michelle Rodriguez has been speaking out for better roles for women in the Fast & Furious franchise. But now, Rodriguez told The Hollywood Reporter that its not likely she will leave the blockbuster franchise anytime soon, even as she advocates for it to evolve. Even saying that Vin Diesel who is also a producer on the F&F films would push for her to stay.

This new revelation from Rodriguez comes after a passionate Instagram post in June where she said “I hope they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one. Or I just might have to say goodbye to a loved franchise.” She then followed that up with a friendly appearance on Diesel’s Instagram a week later, clarifying their friendship and their interest in the same issues.

“Yes, you’re there to entertain people, but when you’re on that scale you also have a responsibility. I won’t accept anything else, and Vin won’t accept anything else. He knows, he gets it.”

Fast & Furious 9 is set to be released on April 19, 2019.
