Michelle Rodriguez Slams FAST & FURIOUS Writer Chris Morgan on His Justice for Han Comments

Ya gotta love the drama surrounding the Fast & Furious franchise! Franchise writer Chris Morgan, who most recently wrote Hobbs & Shaw, recently made a comment regarding justice for Han, who ended up being killed by Deckard Shaw. He promised that justice was coming for the character, saying:

“I love ‘justice for Han,’ Sung Kang is a great friend, and Han is a character that I adore. I would say that the super-arc for Deckard Shaw is going to be one of the most interesting, cool, rewarding character arcs in the franchise. Justice for Han is owed. It’s something we have discussed for a very long time and want to give the right due to. I think the audience will be satisfied and should know it’s coming. There’s a line in Hobbs & Shaw that is right before the battle in Samoa where Shaw says to his sister, ‘there’s things I’ve done that I have to make amends for.’ That line was specifically written and put in there just to let everyone know that he is talking about Han — it is on his mind. It tortures him, and he’s going to get to it.”

Well, Fast & Furious franchise star Michelle Rodriguez doesn’t really seem to be happy with Morgan making the statement. In a recent post on Twitter, she slammed the writing saying, “I’ve been around since the beginning way before Chris Morgan came along & he has absolutely nothing to do with where this narrative is or where it’s going FYI Hobbs and Shaw writer promises that justice for Han is coming.”

That’s interesting! Morgan got his start with the Fast & Furious franchise with Tokyo Drift, then went on to write Fast & Furious, Fast 5, Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, Hobbs & Shaw, and he even wrote the script for Fast & Furious 9!

I’d say that Morgan has a lot to do with the Fast & Furious franchise and knows where it’s going! He’s the one who’s been shaping the narrative since 2006! The guy introduced Han to the franchise! I believe that Morgan is moving to the Hobbs & Shaw side of the franchise moving forward, and with that being the case, he could easily work in that storyline that will bring justice for Han while continuing to build on Shaw’s character.
