Michelle Yeoh Rumored to Be in Talks to Join Marvel's SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS

Actress Michelle Yeoh, known for her roles in films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Crazy Rich Asians, Star Trek: Discovery, and the upcoming Avatar films, is currently rumored to be in talks to join the cast of Marvel’s upcoming film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

According to CB, the actress is in negotiations with Marvel about the role, which will be separate from her brief role as Aleta Ogord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Shang-Chi is currently in pre-production, and is set to begin filming in Australia this year, with a release date set for February 12, 2021. I think Yeoh would make an excellent addition to this cast, and I’m excited to see what Marvel has in store with this story.
