Mickey Rourke Is The Projectionist in This Insanely Dark Trailer for NIGHTMARE CINEMA

We finally have a trailer for you today after a couple of years of hearing about this Mickey Rourke horror film, Nightmare Cinema. The movie features Rourke (The Wrestler, Sin City), who plays The Projectionist, with Richard Chamberlain (The Towering Inferno), Adam Godley (Love, Actually), Orson Chaplin (American Horror Story), and Eric Nelson (A Walk Among the Tombstones). Here is a synopsis for the film from Comingsoon:

A series of down-on-their-luck individuals enter the decrepit and spine-chilling Rialto theater, only to have their deepest and darkest fears brought to life on the silver screen by The Projectionist – a mysterious, ghostly figure who holds the nightmarish futures of all who attend his screenings. By the time our patrons realize the truth, escape is no longer an option. For once the ticket is torn, their fate is sealed at Nightmare Cinema.

And here is the trailer:

This looks bananas. I’m not sure this is one that I could handle, but it looks like it’ll be a blast for all you horror fans. Rourke always goes all in for his roles, and it looks like he is bringing it all to the table as The Projectionist. Are you excited to see this one?

Nightmare Cinema hits theaters this Valentine’s Day.
