MIDNIGHT MASS Director Mike Flanagan Wants To Make a STAR WARS Horror Movie
Mike Flanagan is one of my favorite filmmakers right now. He’s just had a great run of projects all of which have told fantastic horror stories. Some of these projects include The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and his most recent series, Midnight Mass.
I recently finished watching Midnight Mass and it’s easily one of the best shows that I’ve watched this year. I thought it was even better than The Haunting of Hill House, which I loved!
Anyway, the filmmaker recently shared that wants to make a horror movie that’s set in the Star Wars universe and I’ve gotta say, that’s something that I’d love to see! Flanagan is such a great storyteller and I can’t help but think he’d deliver an amazing Star Wars horror movie.
The filmmaker shared this little bit of info with the following Tweet:
Flanagan didn’t elaborate on that or offer any other details about this idea that popped in his head, but I hope that something comes of it. I hope Lucasfilm and Flanagan meet at some point to at least talk about the possibility of making something like this happen!
