Mike Colter and Finn Jones Talk About the Best Way for a DEFENDERS/AVENGERS Crossover

Wouldn't it be great if Marvel Netflix and Marvel Films would embrace the fact that they are all on the same side? I mean, every now and then, we get a reference from one or the other, but I would love to see a serious crossover of characters someday. While that may not happen anytime soon, that doesn't stop people from talking about how they'd do it. Including the stars of The Defenders, Mike Colter and Finn Jones.

During an interview with SFX, they talked to them about a crossover and what the best way for it to happen would be. Finn Jones told them:

"We're part of the same universe. If there ever was a mash-up between the Avengers and Defenders, I think it'd be really nice to see the Avengers come to the Netflix world. It'd be way more interesting to see those characters fleshed out the same way as our characters are, rather than just see our characters do some big fight scene! There's nothing cool about that."

Mike Colter added more on the topic.

"It would be easier to have them come into our world because it would probably be more believable. there's not some huge universal thing going on, some intergalactic thing invading the planet or something like that."

Eventually, they did talk about one possibility that they'd like to see if they were in one of the feature films.

"Get 'em to Harlem. How good would that be, seeing Tony Stark in Harlem? That's brilliant! Although it would be cool to see Luke Cage in a different universe fighting off some dark overlord. That'd be cool. Luke Cage and Iron Fist in space!"

Although it sounds crazy and highly unlikely, there is some precedent for it happening. Recently Agents of Shield ended their season with a teaser of Coulson in space, so it isn't too far from crazy. I think it would be awesome to see any kind of crossover. I think my favorite would be to see Spider-Man or Ant-Man. Because if any people care for the little guys, it's them. What do you think?
