Mila Kunis Set to Star in Netflix Film Adaptation of LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE
Mila Kunis (That 70’s Show, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) has signed on to star in the Netflix adaptation of Luckiest Girl Alive, based on Jessica Knoll’s 2015 New York Times best-selling thriller about “a New York magazine editor whose ‘meticulously crafted life’ is upended when a crime documentary forces her to relive the shocking truths of a devastating incident from her teenage years.”
Kunis will also produce the project under her Orchard Farm Productions banner. Knoll is writing the screenplay and will serve as an executive producer on the film, with Mike Barker (The Handmaid’s Tale) directing. This sounds like a great project for Kunis to take on, and it sounds like an interesting premise. Stay tuned for more info as Luckiest Girl Alive heads into production.
