Miles Teller and Tom Cruise Have Had Conversations About a Third TOP GUN Movie

Top Gun: Maverick was such a freakin’ incredible film! Seriously, it’s one of my all-time favorite movies. With the film making over a billion dollars at the box office, you know the studio is going to want to make another one. But, that decision is up to Tom Cruise.

Top Gun: Maverick is so good that I really don’t want to see another sequel. I don’t want the franchise to be tarnished by an unnecessary sequel that doesn’t reach the same level of greatness as Maverick. But, it very well could happen and Miles Teller recently revealed that he and Tom Cruise have had conversations about a third Top Gun movie. Teller told Entertainment Tonight:

"That would be great, but that's all up to TC. It's all up to Tom. I've been having some conversations with him about it. We'll see."

Teller went on to praise Cruise, saying: "For him to share Top Gun with me and a lot of these other young actors it's just been such a wild ride, and it's still going … I've never really experienced something like this in my life… It's a really good feeling."

If a Top Gun 3 did happen, the creative team would have to come up with a hell of a great story! The question is… how do you top Top Gun: Maverick? If they can’t do that, don’t make the sequel. What do you think?
