Miles Teller is in Talks To Star in The Michael Jackson Biopic MICHAEL

Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller is in talks to join director Antoine Fuqua’s Michael Jackson biopic film Michael. If cast, the actor will take on the role of one of Jackson’s attorneys, we just don’t know which one.

The report does mention that the late Howard Weitzman was known for defending Jackson and his estate, in particular against creditor claims and accusations of pedophilia. There was also Mark Geragos, who assisted Jackson in the early stages of 2005’s People vs. Jackson molestation case, before getting replaced by Thomas Mesereau.

If Teller is cast in the movie he will join Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew, as Michael, Colman Domingo as patriarch Joe Jackson, Nia Long as mother Katherine Jackson, as well as 9-year-old Juliano Krue Valdi, who will be playing a young version of Michael.

The movie is said to be “an in-depth portrayal of a complicated man who became the King of Pop. It will bring to life Jackson’s most iconic performances as it gives an informed insight into the entertainer’s artistic process and personal life.”

The script for the film was written by John Logan, who previously wrote films such as Gladiator and The Aviator.

The movie is set to be released on April 18, 2025. The movie is currently shooting.
