Millie Bobby Brown Says Her Adult Friendship with ENOLA HOLMES Co-Star Henry Cavill Comes with "Terms and Conditions"

Millie Bobby Brown is best-known as Eleven in the biggest Netflix series of all-time, Stranger Things. The actress has branched out from the role in recent years, making her mark as Enola Holmes in the movie that premiered at the streamer in 2020.

She returned to the role this month in the film’s sequel, in which she plays the young detective sister of the famous Sherlock Holmes. Her brother is played by Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, The Witcher), and she has built a close, sibling-like relationship with the actor, which is evident in their onscreen chemistry.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Brown talked about the difference between her relationship with the cast of Stranger Things and her relationship with Cavill, saying:

“It’s different because I grew up with Noah and Charlie. I met them when I was 10. So, for me, it does feel like your schoolmates. And with Henry, it feels like a real adult relationship. Like a really good friendship, a really healthy one. One that we have terms and conditions. I know Henry. He has terms and conditions with me. I’m not allowed to ask about his personal life. It’s like, ‘Millie, shut up. No.’ And I’m like ‘Understood.’ Whereas with the Stranger Things kids, it’s different. There’s no boundaries because it’s like we’re all siblings. But with Henry, he’s very strict with me, which I appreciate.”

There’s definitely a difference between the friendships we make as adults versus the ones we’ve had since childhood. It’s cool that Brown is able to make these new relationships and connections as an adult. I can’t wait to see what she does in the future. She’s a great actress, and she’s bound to go on to take on tons of cool new roles.
