Millie Bobby Brown Says She's Thankful for STRANGER THINGS but She's Also Ready for It to Be Over
While the final season of Stranger Things is on the back burner due to the ongoing SAG/AFTRA strike, we know it’s coming, and we are confident that’s it’s going to be good. The series creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have assured us that they are going to be able to complete the story arc they set out to tell when the first season premiered in 2016.
Aside from the fans, the stars of the series are ready for it to wrap up as well. While they have been able to venture out and star in several other cool movies and shows, putting a wrap on the series that started it all will be a bittersweet and exciting step for all of them.
Millie Bobby Brown plays the lead role of Eleven in the show, and she spoke about the ending of the series in a pre-strike interview with Women’s Wear Daily, where she explained:
“I think I’m ready. It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year. You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life.”
Brown, who was just 11 when the show began, is now 19, engaged to fiancé Jake Bongiovi, and has a ton of projects in the works. It will be awesome to see how the end of Stranger Things goes, and it will be great to see what other acting gigs she participates in. She’s a fantastic actress, and I know she’ll do big things.
