MINDHUNTER Star Holt McCallany to Star Opposite Zac Efron in Wrestling Legacy Drama THE IRON CLAW

Mindhunter star Holt McCallany has taken on a role in the wrestling legacy movie The Iron Claw. The drama will also feature Zac Efron (17 Again, The Greatest Beer Run Ever), Harris Dickinson (The King’s Man, Where the Crawdads Sing), and Jeremy Allen White (Shameless, The Bear).

Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene) is writing and directing the pic, which follows “the true story of the Von Erichs, the film follows the rise and fall of the family dynasty of wrestlers who made a huge impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day.” McCallany will play Fritz Von Erich, the patriarch of the famed Von Erich wrestling family.

This is such a great cast. I can’t wait to see this movie, sheerly because of the talent involved. Stay tuned for the film’s release date.
