MINI PRIMETIME is Hilarious and Informative for People Wanting to Paint Miniatures

It’s finally here! The first episode of Mini Primetime is now available over on Critical Role’s YouTube channel and Will Friedle’s first guest is Sam Riegel and they work with a limited color palette to add depth to a miniature of Nott the Brave.

The video is absolutely hilarious and useful. Friedle is ridiculous and uses the time to be more ridiculous than Riegel. Meanwhile, Riegel has a deer in headlights look throughout the entire episode. What makes the episode even more fun is the fact that Riegel admits that he’s never painted a miniature before. The episode is under 15 minutes long and it makes it very quick and easy to digest compared to other painting shows, just as Friedle promised in his interview with me.

In addition, you can head over to Critical Role’s website to see exactly what paints were used for Nott. The next episode will feature Liam O’Brien and the task will be creating dirt, grime, and corrosion effects.

Sam Riegel joins the handsome and talented Will Friedle to learn how to paint with a limited color palette, as well as dry brushing with washes to add depth using the Nott the Brave miniature from Steamforged.
