MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 8 Set Photos Show Tom Cruise Performing Another Crazy, Death-Defying Stunt
Tom Cruise is currently shooting Mission: Impossible 8, and some new set photos have surfaced! Those photos feature the actor back in action as he is performing another crazy death-defying stunt.
We’ve seen Cruise do a lot of insane stunts for these movies such as HALO jumps, hanging from helicopters, flying helicopters, jumping across buildings, and in his upcoming Mission: Impossible 7 movie he will drive a motorcycle off a massive cliff and parachute to the ground.
For that stunt, Cruise trained for a year doing 500 skydives and 13,000 motorbike jumps. I’ve seen footage of this stunt, and it was absolutely incredible.
This new stunt for the eighth film involves cruise hanging upside down on a World War 2-era plane. The photos comes from The Sun, and we see Cruise take to the skies on the wing of a 1941 Boeing Stearman biplane and perched on the aircraft. Cruise was just rehearsing in these photos.
A source said, "Tom had started to learn to fly a Boeing Stearman biplane earlier this year for a major stunt scene in Mission: Impossible 8."
Of course, he did. This isn’t the first time an actor has performed a stunt on a biplane like this, but I’m sure that Cruise is going to be doing some kind of wild and unique take on the stunt that will wow audiences. Check out the photos below.
