MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS Gets a Season 2 and Spin-Offs

Right now is the season of the monster/kaiju and everyone is trying to cash in on their Godzilla properties. Apple TV+ has taken their hit series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and renewed it for a second season.

I am in no way sad about this revelation, the first season was fantastic. I am excited to see what they are going to do with this multi-generational story. Here is what Apple had to say about the show:

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters has left an indelible imprint on the hearts, minds and imaginations of audiences around the world,” said Morgan Wandell, head of international development for Apple TV+. “We couldn’t be more excited for viewers to not only have the chance to experience even more thrills in season two, but to embark on epic, new journeys in the franchise, as we expand Legendary’s Monsterverse

Now, as if this wasn’t enough. Apple has also been able to secure a multi-series deal which includes spin-offs with Legendary Entertainment.

I love the enthusiasm of this new generation of fans that have embraced the classic Monster movies. I was able to take my boys to see Godzilla: Minus One and they loved every second of it.
