Mondo Movie Poster Art for DAS BOOT by Ken Taylor
Not too long ago I went out and bought myself a Blu-ray copy of the intense 1981 WWII submarine film Das Boot. It had been an incredibly long time since I watched it, and I was blown away by how good it was. It was like watching the movie for the first time. If you haven't seen Das Boot yet, you need to put it on your must watch list. It's one of the best war movies of all time and was nominated for six Academy Awards. Artist Ken Taylor created this fantastic poster art paying tribute to the film for Mondo. This will be part of an art show that Mondo is putting on for the artist. It opens on May 30th at 7pm at the Mondo Gallery located at 4115 Guadalupe St. in Austin, TX.
