Mondo Reveals GODZILLA MINUS ONE Poster Art
As Godzilla Minus One recently ended its theatrical run, Mondo has revealed new poster art that pays tribute to the epic Kaiju movie that was met with massive critical and commercial success. The poster was created by artist Tony Stella.
Mondo has announced that the Godzilla Minus One poster is currently available for pre-order and if you want one, it’ll cost you $80. There’s only a limited quantity of posters, so if you want to get your hands on one for yourself, click here.
The story for the film follows the failed kamikaze pilot Kiochi (Ryunosuke Kamiki) and Noriko (Minami Hamabe), a woman pushed into homelessness, taking care of an abandoned child. During this low point Godzilla marches ashore, pulling Japan even deeper into chaos and devastation.
Written and directed by Japanese filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki, “Godzilla Minus One taps into the grief, hope, trauma, and guilt felt in the world after the tragedies of World War II and the 2019 Covid pandemic, during which the majority of the script was written.”
