Monolith Board Games Provides First Peek at Upcoming Batman TTRPG

Over the weekend was Batman Day and to celebrate, Monolith Board Games shared some information about their upcoming game Batman: Gotham City Chronicles, The Roleplaying Game. This is a spin-off to Monolith’s popular miniatures game Batman: Gotham City Chronicles. I’ve included the official Facebook post below, but I’ll do a quick round-up of what we learned. In Gotham City Chronicles RPG, players will be able to create their own characters and even play as iconic characters. Everything will take place in Gotham City and it looks like three main archetypes or classes are going to be police, gifted and trained humans, and meta-humans.

Monolith promises several books will be released for Gotham City Chronicles RPG. This includes a collection of 12 scenarios called Gotham Chronicles and the Gotham Guide which is going to help people become even more familiar with Gotham. The game will be released via crowdfunding, so be sure to keep an eye out for that in the coming months. Are you excited for this new RPG?
