MONSTER HARVEST Moves Release Date Back for Additional Content

Monster Harvest is an upcoming indie game from Merge Games and Maple Powered Games. It looks like someone took the concepts for Stardew Valley and Pokémon and put them together. Unfortunately, if you were excited to play the game, you’ll have to wait a little longer. In a recent update, it was announced that Monster Harvest has been delayed until July 8. The delay is to help add more content though. Merge Games and Maple Powered Games said in a statement:

So, whilst we’re very sorry to delay your trip to Planimal Point, we’re very excited to bring you a game with some fantastic additions on release!

There’s a bunch of new things to look forward to including;

• Dungeon Minimap

• Variant dungeon rooms with some rare and unique encounters

• Unlockable Planimal attacks

• More crop variations

• New additions to the town and an overhaul of NPC’s and relationships

• Farm size expanded

• More structured goals and rewards for completing certain milestones in-game

• New female character model

We’re very excited to deliver an even bigger game and welcome you to join us on July 8th!

The action farming RPG, Monster Harvest, will launch on Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), PS4, and Xbox One on July 8 with physical versions for the Switch and PS4 launching on July 20 in the United States and July 23 in Europe. Are you excited for the new additions?

Monster Harvest is a pixelated farming simulator with a twist! You will find yourself starting a new life in Planimal Point, ready to develop your own farm, customize your house, craft your own furniture and make delicious jams. What’s more, you can even mutate your crops to create loyal and fierce companions to take into battle!

During the journey through Planimal Point, you will discover strange Slimes which can mutate your crops in ways they would never have imagined! Depending on the season, the Slime, or the crop you mutate, you will be able to create up to 72 different mutations!
