MONSTER HUNTER WORLD: ICEBORNE Trailer Shows Off the Glavenus

Capcom has dropped a new trailer for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne that gives us a look at some new subspecies and other monsters as well as a glance at Seliana headquarters, a new gathering hub. As you watch the trailer, you’ll get to see the Fulgar Anjanath channel lightning to attack its prey, the Ebony Odogaron fight with a wider attack range, and then the fiery Galvenus uses its tail as a blade that looks like a sword to murder its hunters.

The Seliana base is in Hoarfrost Reach and built around a hot spring. Hunters and Palicoes can use this home base to manage their resources, craft gear, and harvest items. Plus, hunters will have access to personalizable “My Room” that will let you show off to your friends after a post-launch update.

Things not shown in the trailer include new flexibility that will balance the difficulty if members of your team drop out or if you choose to go on a quest with Palicoes. Your furry sidekicks will also get upgrades with better gadgets and new options.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will launch on September 6 for PS4 and Xbox One with a PC release this winter. The expansion will be available for an MSRP of $49.99 or you can get the Master Edition which will include the base game for an MSRP of $59.99.

As a bonus, I’ve included a new Developer Diary video as well.

The hotheaded Glavenus joins the #Iceborne roster, along with two brand new monster subspecies: Fulgur Anjanath and Ebony Odogaron! It's going to be a blast! Also catch a glimpse of the new and improved Gathering Hub in this trailer, but for a deeper dive on all of these topics (and more!)
