MONSTER LOOT VOL. 1 Gives DMs a Guide for How to Introduce Harvesting to Their D&D Games

In many video game RPGs, harvesting items from creatures you’ve defeated is just another Tuesday. However, it’s not as common to see this kind of mechanic in tabletop RPGs. Well, some people have decided that they want to give their players the chance to have this kind of mechanic in their games. The latest I’ve seen comes from Anne Gregersen and their Monster Loot Vol. 1 – Monster Manual. This is a nifty unofficial guide of things party members may be able to harvest from each of the creatures found in the Monster Manual. What’s more though is that Gregersen provides some guidelines of how harvesting works and how some items can be used in crafting to create items.

When brave adventurers face the dangers of the world, they want something to show for it. This supplement provides individual loot for each monster in the Monster Manual, as well as a basic crafting and harvesting system that works well with 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons.

With this supplement, these brave adventurers will be able to craft the hide, teeth, and claws of their enemies into dangerous weapons and equipment that is sure to mark them as legendary heroes of the realm.

If you’re interested in Monster Loot Vol. 1, you can grab it from DMs Guild for $4.95.
