MOON KNIGHT Will Get into Marc Spector's Troubled Past in The Final Two Episodes

If you have been enjoying Moon Knight as much as I have, then you are anxiously anticipating the final two episodes. Now, before we continue, I need to drop a spoiler warning right HERE! If you haven’t watched the previous four episodes, then please stop reading, go watch what you have missed out on and come back for some mildly spoilerific fun. We are going to get into some interesting circumstances from episode 4, casting news, and some potential story lines that you need to be all caught up for. Now do what I said and come back.

Here we go. When we last saw Marc/Steven, they were trapped in a mental hospital wondering how they got there and if their previous adventures were just elaborate dream. Judging by Marc finding Steven trapped in a sarcophagus and the appearance of the Egyptian goddess of childbirth, Taweret, I am thinking this may be all in the head of Marc/Steven. With that possibility on the table, this whole thing may be a result of past trauma inflicted upon Marc as a child. This is all but confirmed with the news that actor Rey Lucas will be playing Marc’s late father, Elias Spector.

Check out the red carpet interview that Rey Lucas gave Variety below. He briefly talks about his experience with filming Moon Knight, and hints at mutants showing up in the MCU.

Elias Spector is the father of Marc, and Marc’s brother Randall. He was a Rabbi that fled Czechoslovakia during Hitler’s reign and has ties with many Marvel stories. The storyline that he could be tied to in this series could be when Marc was young and developed dissociative identity disorder, and Elias had Marc placed in the Putnam Psychiatric Hospital. This could be the cause of Marc’s current dreamlike state. reverting back to a time in his life when he felt the most out of control.

Up until this point this show has been pretty close to perfect. I love what they have done and I am excited to see not only how they end this season but how it will tie into the bigger picture of the MCU. Please let us know what you think.
