MORBIUS Director Seems To Have Revealed Another Big Marvel Character Cameo in The Film

Director Daniel Espinosa’s upcoming Marvel film Morbius seems like it’s going to be something pretty cool. I really enjoyed those first trailers that were released and it seems like Jared Leto is going to be great in the title role of a scientist turned vampire.

The trailers have also revealed that this film is connected to Marvel’s Spider-Man movies because Michael Keaton reprised his role as Vulture in it. That character was first introduced in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and I’m super curious to see how exactly he fits into the story.

Well, the director seems to have now let the cat out of the bag regarding another Marvel character that will appear in the movie. Here’s what he said in a recent interview with Swedish outlet Moviezine:

“It usually feels strange before the day begins, when you look at the schedule and stand on the set yourself. When you walk around there, the recording looks just like a Swedish production…when you look at the schedule and read names like Michael Keaton, Jared Leto, Tom Hardy, then it feels cool and very exciting.”

With his mention of Tom Hardy being on the production schedule, it’s easy to assume that Venom will also be showing up in the movie! We have no idea how big of a role he will have or how exactly he’ll fit into the story, but all of our questions will be answered at some point when Morbius hits theaters on January 21st, 2022.
