More Dads Make For More Ridiculousness in Funny New Trailer For DADDY'S HOME 2

Daddy's Home was a decent comedy that had its moments, but this sequel looks like it could be so much more funny. Daddy's Home 2 features the return of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg as two fathers who have come to work together as friends and co-dads for the benefits of their kids. What takes things to a new level is the fact that their dads are coming to visit for Christmas and they are awesomely played by Mel Gibson and John Lithgow! That casting alone is enough to make me want to see this movie, the fact that the sequel actually looks good though is definitely a plus. The trailer also gives us our first look at John Cena as another dad that is thrown into the mix.

In the sequel to the 2015 global smash, father and stepfather, Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) and Brad (Will Ferrell) have joined forces to provide their kids with t he perfect Christmas. Their newfound partnership is put to the test when Dusty’s old-school, macho Dad (Mel Gibson) and Brad’s ultra-affectionate and emotional Dad (John Lithgow) arrive just in time to throw the holiday into complete chaos.

The sequel was written by Sean Anders and John Morris, who wrote the first film and Anders will be back to direct.  The movie also stars Linda Cardellini, Thomas Haden Church, and Hannibal BuressDaddy’s Home 2 will hit theaters on November 10, 2017.
