More Details Arise for RISE OF THE PSYCHO RANGERS
I am very excited for the release of the Rise of the Psycho Rangers expansion for Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid. The Kickstarter is live for just under a week longer, and it’s been awesome seeing the updates for the game being revealed. In the latest update for the game, the game’s designer, Jonathan Ying, teased fans a little with what to expect from the Psycho Rangers.
We know that there are three different ways to incorporate the Psycho Rangers into your game. First, you can simply use them as individual monsters in your scenario. Second, you can use them as a final boss where you have to bring them all down. Finally, there’s the Psycho Assault Mode which has been designed to be very challenging for players.
Of course, Ying went through and really wanted each Psycho Ranger to shine so he came up with the new Nemesis cards, which allow a new mechanic to go with deployment to feature persistent effects. The example we were given is that of Psycho Red who can deal four damage to the Red Ranger when triggered. Ouch!
In addition to the news about the Psychos, Ying and Scott Gaeta also talked about the new In Space Rangers and what they can do. These new powers look freaking awesome, and I love them. I think TJ might be my favorite of the group. Which one are you most excited to use?
