More Famous Landmarks Are Destroyed in Posters for INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE
One thing is for sure, the aliens of Independence Day have done their research on the famous landmarks of the world, and they have come back to finish the job in the sequel. They already destroyed a bunch of them in the first film, and now they are coming back to destroy even more. These aliens hate the world's landmarks, and they won't stop until they are gone. That's the real overall plot of the Independence Day franchise!
Jeff Goldblum's David Levinson even jokes about it in the trailer saying, "they like to get the landmarks," and in this new series of international posters we see the villainous aliens going after the Statue of Liberty, the Washington Monument, the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and the Marina Bay Sands towers in Singapore. I also included some high resolution photos from the film as well.
We always knew they were coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global catastrophe on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet.
