More New Behind the Scenes Footage From STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
Earlier this week, we shared some rare never before seen outtakes and rare behind the scenes footage from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. That video was loaded with cool stuff that the fans loved seeing.
Well, I’ve got more new behind the scenes footage to share with you today for the film! Much of the footage here has never been seen, and it also features some alternate takes.
The footage was shared in the latest episode of The Star Wars Show. Along with the footage it also includes interviews with some of the new Star Wars filmmakers and actors including Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Pedro Pascal, Deborah Chow, Lesley Headland, Taiki Waititi, and Diego Luna.
These talented individuals offer some great commentary on the film, and there’s a cool moment where Waititi shares his favorite scene in The Empire Strikes Back saying:
"My favorite moment is on Dagobah when Luke is trying to bring his X-wing out of the swamp. Then Yoda, with his three little fingers, brings the thing out of the swamp. Not only just brings it up to the surface, out of the water, and what does Luke say? 'I don't believe it.' That, for me, is the best moment in the film. That's a message I can take with me throughout my life."
The Star Wars Show also includes an interview with Dave Filoni to talk about bringing Ahsoka and Bo-Katan into The Mandalorian and what to look forward to in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
Enjoy!
