Most Popular October Movies Purchased Through Movies Anywhere
Movies Anywhere is a digital movie platform and it’s celebrating its third anniversary. One thing the company decided to do was take a look at some trends they’ve found. For instance, to no one’s surprise, people like to buy horror and suspense films more than spooky family films as Halloween approaches. It should be noted that based on the data, the family friendly picks are still very popular to watch. Also, the most purchased movies are not always the most watched films. Below you’ll find the most purchased and most watched films for spooky season in 2017 (October 12-31) when Movies Anywhere was in their first year, and 2020 (September 13-October 2). I do want to note that for 2020, the data is pretty premature as it ends on October 2. I’d be interested to see how it compares at the end of the month.
