It's not often when a major movie role is only ever just offered to one person that the studio had their sights on. Usually, studios have a list of several names of actors that they want for a role. We see lists like this all the time.

Today we have a video from Looper that breaks down a few actors who were the only people ever considered for a certain movie role and offered the part. It's a pretty interesting list that consists of Ron Perlman for Hellboy, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Dave Bautista as Drax, and more. Here's a note that came along with the video:
