Moving First Trailer for the Heath Ledger Documentary I AM HEATH LEDGER
When you think of emotional documentary trailers what channel do you think of? Is it Spike TV? No? Me neither. But nevertheless, Spike TV is producing what seems to be a moving Heath Ledger documentary called I am Heath Ledger, and to be honest... it looks good.
It's been almost 10 years since the death of Heath Ledger, if you can believe that. While I've always enjoyed his acting in films, I never imagined that a documentary on his life would ever be made. The documentary features his close friends and family and talking about the kind of person Heath was. One specific thing it mentions in the trailer is that he always had a camera with him. Much of that footage he shot is peppered through the documentary. To me, that is charming. I feel self-videos done for yourself and maybe friends is a great way to show who the real person is.
My personal favorite Heath Ledger film is A Knights Tale. You really get to see him turn on the charm and use that Ledger smile. What's your favorite Ledger film? Post in the comments below.
I am Heath Ledger premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival April 23 and be available in select movie theaters May 3. It also will air on Spike TV on May 17.
