A trailer has been released for the father-daughter film Rebuilding, starring Josh O'Connor, Meghann Fahy, Amy Madigan, Kali Reis, Lily LaTorre, Nancy Morlan, and Zeilyanna Martinez. The film is written and directed by Max Walker-Silverman (A Love Song).

Rebuilding premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival to great reviews.

The synopsis reads: “Rebuilding follows Dusty (Josh O'Connor), a reserved, divorced father whose ranch has burned down in a devastating wildfire.

“Now living in a trailer community on a government-run campsite, Dusty finds solace with his new neighbors who have also lost everything, quietly reassembles his life, and starts reconnecting with his ex-wife Ruby (Meghann Fahy) and young daughter Callie-Rose (Lily LaTorre).

“A moving portrait of resilience and human connection in the wake of loss.”

This looks like a great movie with subtle and promising performances. Check out the trailer below, and watch Rebuilding when it opens in select US theaters on November 14th, 2025, before expanding nationwide on November 21st.
