Moving Trailer For The Robert Redford-Produced Film THE MUSTANG
The first trailer has been released for a new Robert Redford-produced film called The Mustang. The movie tells the inspirational true story of a convict who finds himself in a rehabilitation program that involves training wild mustangs.
This is quite a moving trailer and this looks like a powerful film of a violent man looking to genuinely change his ways and better his life. The movie has a great cast that includes Bruce Dern (The Hateful Eight), Matthias Schoenaerts (Red Sparrow), Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights), Jason Mitchell (Mudbound), Gideon Adlon and Josh Stewart.
Here’s the synopsis:
Roman (Matthias Schoenaerts), a convict in a prison in rural Nevada, participates in a rehabilitation program in which he trains wild mustangs. He struggles to connect with the horses and his fellow inmates alike. But in time, working alongside young convict Henry (Jason Mitchell) and an old trainer Myles (Bruce Dern), Roman soothes an especially feisty horse and confronts his own violent past.
I like stories like this. Stories of people who go through a process of changing themselves to become better people. It’s something that I think a lot of us can relate to. Sure, not all of us are serving hard time in prison, but none of us are perfect and we all have something that we can work on to better ourselves.
The movie is an Official Selection of the Sundance Film Festival and it is set to hit theaters in March 2019.
